Drift
Well my rears are all but done, 1-2mm left on them, I guess that is a good thing for a drift day? Might make driving round the rest of the track 'interesting' though? I have a open faced helmet so shouldn't be a problem.

I think the invidia exhaust on your car puppy could be too loud, Rick (redun) used to have one he might be able to offer a suggestion (then again at 6k maybe not so bad?).

hmm, i will have to sort out a test once i get it installed, i can always throw on a silencer / muffler for the day.

Nipped into my garage to pull my helmet out this morning. And it has a nice crack down the back from when i went banger racing last year. There goes another 200 notes

An invidia will be very close to the db limit, around 103db at about 5000rpm iirc.

I tried the bungs and they knocked just 2db off!

I'm sort of tempted, if there's still places, got a couple of questons first though.

Can you borrow/hire a helmet when you're there ?
What sort of noise (db's) does a HKS with de-cat produce, if there is a noise limit I don't wanna get all excited and get turned down.

I could probably get a few other non S's owners to come along aswell.

Helmet hire is available, costs about a tenner I think. I can't help you on the noise question I'm afraid but I'm sure that someone on here will know!

Any other cars will be very welcome but the discount is for S2k members only so non-members will have to pay the extra

I often go to watch, I think virtually every M3 CSL has been on the Oulton drift track, seriously there is always loads of them.

My brother did an afternoon in his MX5 when I did my last trackday, the instructor said the S2000 was a difficult car to drift.

I might be up for this!
There is a reason for lots of M3 CSL at track days, they are awesome! Oh and by the way, the S2000 isnt that hard to drift, its easy!
