I'm guessing that a BBQ wouldn't be allowed there but maybe on the grass area opposite. For camping it would probably depend on what other events are running that weekend as to whether the site is available overnight.

I'll take a look at Saturdays next month (be patient Puppy) and ask the other questions when we have a proposed date.

Perchance do you have any footage of me? White Nissan 180SX with a black bonnet.........
The serious answer is no. Afraid I didn't have much time so just filmed those that I thought would be my audience.

Joke answer is yes, here you are all 18 seconds! (look hard for your background appearances - I like the ball of smoke on the hairpin at the end best!)

You really think you could trust Puppy to be left within the fenceline overnight? I wish, would be better than Le Mans!

But it sounds sooo goood...

I don't even think it would be legal with the baffles
The baffles only knock 2DB off!

I was shocked at that!

That's rubbish.......You should have kept the camera on me for the hairpin i was having a wail of a time creating smoke screens for the guys behind.
The satisfaction of finishing a lap and then having my smoke cloud float past was keeping me amused for ages

Now that is an interesting idea....

2 full days of sliding madness

Dunno how many people would be hardcore enough for that though.
Wouldn't that mean 3 sets of rears though?

I'm slightly worried at the rate at which it will go through tyres in the dry due to my camber, i'd much prefer it to rain

This thread is starting to worry me

We've had some great feedback from a lot of Saturdays drifters so we are looking at running another event soon, hopefully midish September so I'll let you know any more info as we get it!

In terms of days and dates, we'd welcome any comments from you; I'm guessing that a Saturday is better for most of you than a weekday? Sundays are generally out due to the noise but we could often arrange a weekday if that did suit better....

Steve H
Count me in for next month but any chance of arranging from the 20th weekend ? Got a few things on on the previous weekends.
Should be able to drag a couple of TVRs along aswell, if there's enough room for them.

Rick for a 3/4's of day drifting on dry track, we only used 0.5mm for tyre wear.

So for 2 days, I'd say worst case 1.5 mm used.

I wouldn't worry about tyre wear at all
