yeh thats looks like a great route. i like the road from congleton to buxton nice n tricky with a sweet uphill hairpin. bit bumpy tho but a good test of driving skill

Buxton and the route are close enough for me to join this, so if you can make the pace suitable for this Old Codger take me as a possible. I am on hols abroad from1/1 to 21/4.

I'm interested if you don't mind another LOTUS turning up.

Had a run out there last weekend (missed out Pies' corner!) great weather and the roads were quite clear!

The A54 from Congy to Buxton is the start of my favourite bit of local driving, on the very odd occasion when the 911 gets taken out of the garage these days....

I'll keep an eye on this thread. If the Porker hasn't been sold by then, I'll try to get along. It would be rude to miss something on my (relative) doorstep!
