Have to agree with Andy on this one, that's a great photo, your's is really good as well Iain but Andy's has that added something.

I'd trim the bit of car off the bottom though.
I prefer Beardie's... Andy's is missing something... hmmm, what could it be?

Oh yes - a SHINY S!!

And is that a tab I see in Iain's hand in one of the early piccies? I noticed your "n days without" sig line has gone...

Your eyes deceive you. I am still a devout non-smoker. I just got fed-up updating the sig.
Andy was having to blag his fags from Shisky

I realise now: must've mistaken you for someone else... unless the cold took all your hair

Patronising "Well done", then!

Euan, just use Windows Movie Maker, it works an absolute treat
Pinnacle had done it after all - (then decided to crash my PC )

Never mind - looks OK, but lots of shake. I had switched the camcorder to sport mode, but that switches out the image stabilisation, so you get the shakes

Anyone know the best settings to use for this sort of thing? I really think you need to keep the IS on somehow.

Sure you can't just switch the IS back on after switching to sport mode?

No it disables it I think - I guess sports mode is for sports events where you have the camera on a tripod or something steady anyway.

So what options have you got that allow the IS to work?

Just checked the manual - you can switch the IS on/off in sports mode - and it was on yesterday!

Playback very jerky

Am I better using a high shutter speed in Auto do you think? Tried this in Dumfries when the Noonies were up and vidoe didn't look good.
