Post Carlimits Activity Day - Sunday 7th Feb

Hi All,

Just booked onto one of Andy Walsh's Car Limits days. This will be my 5th time, they are a brilliant hoot and a great way to learn the car.

Sunday 7th Feb is showing as having 10 spaces free still... thought it would be good to get some more S2000's up there

Good man! Look forward to meeting you Haroon.

Two of my friends are going too... one in a MX5 and one in a MR2.

Interesting, can someone go into detail please whats involved/you do on the day?

Do you take what you've learnt on the day and towards the end of the day, do a track (with cones set out).

Does it really fecck your tyres?

Seriously everything car/track related is feckking miles away from me

The format is similar to the car limits day but rather than Andy and four student drivers there are more cars and so they get slightly less time with Andy and on on track.

I've done the full day a couple of times now, it's about provoking the car and learning how to recover it. It's not a track day or even a traditional airfield day. you do a repeated high speed corner so people that don't pump up their tyres can wear the shoulders. I had mine pumped to the max pressure last time and was fine.

Hi CHIPPO,

If your interested there is one space available on the 21 Mar (a few S2Ks going on that day) I believe its the same format as the one on this topic - a corporate day!

Have a look here;

http://www.carlimits.com/script/viewEvents...&month=20100301

Hope this helps, although you will have to be quick! (excuse the pun ) to book.

More S2ks....the better, need to out number the Lotus mob!

Hi all, my friends engine let go on his mr2 yesterday so there is now a spare slot if anyone fancies it.

If interested let me know and he can give car limits a call to let them know of the name change and you can give him the cash for it on the day as he is still coming as a passenger
