From Lower's experience at Donny it appears that they are far too good for the stock disks.
His ended up glowing red and are now warped.

Almost certainly. Due to the delay getting the pads in, I took the trouble to email porterfield about whether the R4-S are normal road or race pads, for bedding in purposes. They said they don't need bedding in

Sorry guys, goihgn to bail, but I'm going to come to watch for an hour or so in the afternoon, probably be there about 1:30pm. I'm annoyed I can't make it for the whole thing but that's life.
