If you're just coming to watch then turn up anytime.
If you're taking part, IIRC you need to be there for 8am to sign on and get briefed (this is from memory not fact, but I'm sure Steve will be along before too long)
The day will normally finish at 5 pm.
If you don't want to drive, you can pay £10 and be a passenger, I'm happy to take people out with me.
I've managed to jump in a Porker GT3, Fezza 355 & other stuff as a passenger with people I don't know just by asking. Trackday peeps are generally a friendly bunch and happy to take people out with them.

I wish I could make it out with you guys...unfortuntely we have a huge inspection the next week so we'll be doing last minute prep. However, this thread did inspire me to check out available trackdays at Cadwell, so I'm now signed up to do the novice day next Friday!
