Default Borders Re-Run

Me and Iain went out today for a fantastic micro meet.
Veterans of the Scots/Ne borders meet will recognise a lot of the roads.
The days events included getting lost several times and towing a corsa out of a ditch.

pics on the way

Well guys, myself and Andy (accompanied by Craig) had a great day out today.
We managed about 200 miles round the Borders/D&G. Weather was pretty good, though we did get a drenching at one point
Usual Jock Meet content.
We got lost. Surprise, surprise. We ended up on a deadend track. When I asked the local farmer where we were, he pointed to a white space on the map.
After moving over to let us past a lad (and his girlfriend ) in a Nova dropped into a mud filled ditch. Andy ended up towing the guy out, with me pushing from behind. I even had to ask the guy to turn on his engine to help get him out ! If Andy didn't need a new clutch, he does now
Never seen so many bloody sheep on a run before. Managed to miss them all, but only just.

All in all, a great way to spend a Sunday. Even spotted another S as we were coming out of Abington services.

We took my new camcorder along today. Unfortunately, I'm still fighting with the ruddy software to get some pics. Will post them later....hopefuly. (We nearly lost the CC on one jump!)

Sorry Neil, Never thought to ask you, we didn't post in the usual place either, this was arranged from the wooly bollard thread when Iain was threatening me with violence.

Worth a read....

We've passed this sign many a time, but has anybody actually seen a village?

Beauty and the Beast

We got fast on the twisties

Now this is scary

But this one'll give you nightmares!

What's that up ahead?

Bloody sheep again!

These one's were hard. The buggers weren't for moving.
