G'day Peeps,

Would there be any interest in doing Blackpool to Scarborough run, all A roads.

Let me know the interest

Could we do it the other way, and end up in blackpool at night for the illuminations and a drive down the strip?

i've done this in the past with a group of minis when i used to have one, we went from penrith to scarborough on B roads never mind A roads, stopped the night in thirsk as well on the way.

Was a really good run, I guess I could try and find the run notes if anyone was interested and we could do that same run!

Fast is not the word, had the police helicopter after us at one point

Might be up for this. Do it one trip though. None of this staying overnight lark. Think Ians idea is best too. Start over over on the dark side & head for chavpool.

The last Blackpool meet in the illuminations looked excellent!

Ed it'll be near impossible to do it in one go using just minor roads, you just can't make progress quick enough unless you use A roads which is boring and full of speed cameras

It just needs good planning & a combination of both. We did 200 miles on A & B roads during the Peaks/Peninnes meet a few months ago. That took 6+ hours.
