Another S2000 not attending SM3
At 8.05am this morning I managed to spin my beloved 8 week old S across 4 lanes of traffic via a central reservation.
The good news is I managed to walk away unscathed. The bad news is the S in undrivable and in a very bad way.
As look would have it I had my digital camera with me, so managed to get some shots for insurance etc. Took a few interesting ones when it was on the ramps at Altrincham Honda. Will post when I eventually get home.
We will now be attending SM3 in the ATR if allowed!

Blimey Rich Glad to hear that you were not hurt. How did it happen?
I managed to spin mine last October, joining the M6. A mix of pretty heavy rain, adverse camber, a diesel spillage there a few weeks previously and too much right foot in light of all of the above sent me careering backwards into the armco. It looked a right mess at the time, having mangled the back driver's side wheel and rear panels, but it was nothing that couldn't be remedied - hopefully yours will be similarly reparable.
I don't think anyone is going to have mind you coming along in the ATR - it's a sport Honda, after all
Hope you're back behind the wheel of the S soon

Sh1t Sh1t Sh1t.
Glad you`re ok. Whats happening with all these crashes? Is it the wet weather. Super extra caution is needed. These cars can and will bite you in the ass.
To reiterate. Glad your ok. Hope the insurance sorts it all for you.

Sorry to hear that Rich
I blame this crap weather, can't we do anything about it? Invent a giant umbrella to cover the UK?
Hope its back on the road soon.

Thanks people.
I lost the rear wheels whilst coming off a slip road, little too much revs with a wet road surface. I thought I'd been able to drive out of the skid, but over compensated and completely lost it and skidded a second time.
I do not know how, but I managed to miss the cars coming towards me, lord knows what would have happened if I'd gone into someone as well.
Still over to the insurance now...
