Post frenzy!!!!
Have not had time to post since my first track day in the new car.
First impressions are as follows.
1. I can't do hairpin in the new car yet. I did not get it right once all day. Either my entry speed was too high and the front end washed out or I got on the Gas too hard and lost the back. I think this had more to do with my poor driving than the car.
2. Plenty of Mid Range Punch (MRP) sure helps on the start finish straight. Bye bye, RX's, Loti, Scoobies etc. The only ones who were hanging on were VX turbos and modified stuff.
3. The brakes are out of this world, both in stopping and in lifespan.
My only regret was that I kept missing the 993 on the track, that would have been interesting.

Good review Euan... well that saves me goin' out to try any of those...
...not that I would anyway although I am kinda surprised the Z didn't give the thrills - but I guess it looks big and heavy... so it must be. I remember seeing it at the motor show at the SECC and thinking, 'christ that's a big fat bas!'

I liked the Z350 but I think it is more of an M3 competitior than a sports car. It is a good car and there is a lot of Skyline goodies under the skin so it will so some if you press on.

Hey Ho ..... been working over the weekend. You guys' been busy.
Max - Those barstewards are dragging their feet..give them Hell
Euan - Good to hear you have come to your senses .. cast aside your accountancy instincts and get a Lime Green (I would .. too much NFS: U2 lately )
Andy - What 'probing' ? I thought it was a gastroscopy, not Colonoscopy
Jimbo - *ahem* WBT *cough* video.
Iain - How's my Extigy ?
Neil - Most of my weekends are dictated by my wife these days, she can get temperamental these days . Plus, i've seemed to prefer to have my LHB with me as I have lost a bit of self confidence handling the S (and after seeing RM's wipeout, made me feel even worse).
Stuart - What new car ?!

Just drive like me Vince I always find out where we're meeting up next and just drive at my own pace. As I'm sure all of the jocks will agree, it's slower than most, but then my reactions are slower than most because of the ME.

Mind you, I saw an M3 at the petrol station on Sat, the young yummy mummy filling it up had a magnificent arse. Fabulous!
I need to get myself sorted out.

I am sure that Euan posted some link to a Russian site you might find useful.
