BTW - mean't to ask - do you think this handling day that was talked about a earlier in the year could still be a goer?
Sure just let me know if people are interested. I will re-check the costs for the hire of Crail and instructor time. It basically all comes down to numbers for how much it will cost us.

Does anyone have anything they would like to cover in particular? The whole of Crail would be available. If not they can run the standard day that they do for GT2/3 customers.

I quite like the idea of track day and defensive (avoid the ditch) driving course.

But i'm not sure whether i'd like the idea of sending my car back to the garage again in case $hit happens.

This is my second mishap in 1 year .. i must really be a crap driver

I'm having to do $hit loads of locums just to keep up with the costs

Or maybe NFSU has given me too much confidence

yes there are a few of us yet to meet our ditches

I am sure it will happen eventually.....probably on a dull drive into work or something similar....seems a lot harder to concentrate in the morning doesn't it??

The big advantage of doing somethig at Crail or similar, is that they have a drift oval which is a good place to learn about how your car reacts to being sideways but at a relitively low speed.

Kames is fun but the track is quite narrow so you need a set to go fast. Once saw a guy go round there in a Sykline, I swear there was only inches of track either side of the wheels.
