Of course when we came to a stop after "The Vomit Incident" He casually mentions he has been a Rally Navigator for the last 7 years

The word I'm looking for is........ 6 letters Starts with R and ends with R
I would like to say I was driving about seven tenths but I can't.....

However I was breaking way to early and pissing around with confidence braking - where you touch the pedal it doesn't do much but you feel better....So MJI must have got a few scares with the flickering brake lights...

As for being a rally navigator - having driven the rally car and been in the company of Sam on the road in his Ferrari 308 GTB I know my limitations are way low...

hence why I navigate...

Incidently I am trying to persuade Sam to come next week in the Ferrari and join us - give us something to drool over.

I suspect I would have felt the same if any you had taken the lead I think you are just ing me....

I am really surprised to hear about the CTR having shaken hands on one I walked away the next day even though it was Dario Francitti's..... I guess I escaped some disappointment

I don't think you would have been dissapointed. The extra weight was the main factor in dropping behind so much, I know from previous experience, like for like there isn't much in it,

and although the handling was difficult compared to the S2000 it wasn't bad.

It's not a bad car and great for the money, it's just not as good as the S2000.

Mind you it is 10K cheaper but the steering is probably the cars achilles heel

I would venture you could probably fix it with better wheels/tyres.

They both also lack mid range punch. Fuel consumption is conservative for the car, but stir that gear lever and let it get above 6,000 rpm when VTEC kicks in and it's a real Jekyll and Hyde motorcar

Don't the motoring press talk some $hite!?

Iain, In the post as they say.

What was the name of the tyre place you use? I will need a new set of rubber pretty soon and was looking for some prices.

Also I took a chip out of my helmet (Steady Jim) any suggestion on a good place to get a new one?

Stuart, it's Craighill Tyres in Irvine. Euan's not sure about them as he reckons tey didn't balance one of the wheels correctly.
Some very nice dual carriageways within half a mile to test out on afterwards though.
Push a bit for reduced price, but don't expect big savings. I use them bacuase I trust them to look after my wheels.

Mike? fear? (I doubt it )

I wasn't feeling too great today, so it was more likely that Andy's driving (oops, sorry, "the appalling ride and noise" ) merely exacerbated a pre-existing condition, rather than actually caused it.

Would not mind. I am looking at one as a second car at the moment. Though I am still trying fo figure out how I could afford an ITR DC5.

How are you, I gather from the last 13 pages all is not well.

Same for all you others. I go AWOL for a few days and all the cars go off the road.
