What are you doing tomorrow for me to drop this extigy off
If not I could drop it at my sisters and you could get it from her
That sound card will have some stories to tell, how many people have been involved in this delivery? Question is Vince, will you ever get it?

Bad Bad Bad 993

Too expensive. Nasty Wheels. Get a grip y'all.

Must be a c 4, 4s or turbo 4. We all know what rear wheel drive and no traction control does in an s2k. Now imagine the weight over the back axle.

I had a c 2 that would slide around Sauchiehall Street.

Don't anyone be tempted.

I have always thought the RWD porkers have been so much more fun. If you just want a toy for the weekend / track then I would always go for a C2. If you want an everyday driver then a C4S would be better. Yes the 993 is expensive to run compaired to a 996 or 997 and their performance has been somewhat eclipsed but they sound great.

For Euan, if I had the cash I would go halfers with you. The 993 is becoming a collectors car as it was the lats of the air cooled. Good 993's already sell for more than early 996's. If you can find a widebody one in good nick and with a history you wont get much change out of 40k

I've noticed that.

Problem for me, is that I would never have time to drive both a 993, and an S2000

S2000 is best value car for me at the moment.

I'm with Iain on the E-Type - never been a fan of the looks. XK120 is though. I have a model of one somewhere.

Re the 993 Stuart - I am beginning to worry (after driving the Z4) that the Porker would be too fast and capable for the sort of jock roads we enjoy on meets. The Honda you can push enough to have plenty fun on these roads, is the 993 not just ticking over on the same roads, so therefore not as much fun?

The name of this says it all... unt Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer. That's even more Deutsche than Porsche - and Austrian to boot. Which is even more German than German.
