This is a regular driving meet from Rickmansworth to Potterspury, near Towcester, usually on the last Sunday of each month.
The route is a lovely drive on a mixture of A, B and C-roads, I try to make sure that the pace is dependent on the slowest driver, and we do wait to let folk catch up if necessary. We stick to the 30 and 40 limits through the villages. I have SatNav files and Google Maps links if people want to navigate it solo.
To avoid the traffic, we leave early in the morning from Christ Church Chorleywood Car Park.
It's on the A404 about 1/2 mile from junction 18 of the M25. The postcode is WD3 5SG.
At junction 18, take the A404 exit to Chorleywood/Amersham, past the Shell garage on your right, then past The Gate pub, also on your right. The church is opposite the pub and the entrance to the car park is a sharp left at the end of the churchyard wall.

This the outline plan so far Dover to Dunkirk Thursday eve arrive at 10 pm,Friday drive through Amsterdam, Arrive Leeuwarden Netherlands Saturday Flesnburg,Sunday Viborg Denmark and then Monday head back on shortest time route.On route taken in as many good roads as possible, ( Hope to get some S2k ers from each country to do some driving with us.Passing and driving through some great scenery and cities like Amsterdam, Bremen, Hamburg and kolding.None of above is set in stone but thats the out line plan if your really up for a real blast put ya names down and i will spend some real time into it.Cost are around £800 for two people that would be your fuel at around £200,Food £200, Ferry £100,Hotels depend how the majority want cheapest £300 or a nice standard £400.The drive back will be the quickest route back looking at 8 hours min..All ov the above is outline plans things will change they normally do...so names please if interested. regards Burnie.

The Classic & Performance Car Spectacular is set in the beautiful grounds of Tatton Park where the show is very popular with both exhibitors and visitors, particularly with the added attraction of the Autojumble, being the biggest and best of its kind in the North of England.
The exhibits area will require many an hour to see, with approx 1500 exhibits from around 90 top car club displays (including ours, of course!), some making Tatton Park event their National Weekend!
The large area of Autojumble/General trade stands keep many people busy for hours, whether searching for rare obsolete vehicle spares, tools or car cleaning products, *or even*, plants, jewelry, toys, models to T-shirts and tents!! (Around 200 stalls in all).
The Classic Car mart is also very popular where private owners advertise and sell their Classic Cars on the day. There are always some really nice cars on offer, but you’ll need to be quick, the best cars usually sell very quickly, at recent shows even the show staff have managed to purchase some excellent classic cars!

10th Annual Druids' Run - Sunday 25th June

As you may be aware there is a regular driving meet known as the Ricky Run. We get up early and drive 65 miles along some wonderful roads, have breakfast, and drive back again.
For the last nine years, as a special event, to celebrate the longest day of the year, we got up up extra early (4.30am) to take advantage of the early rising sun to enjoy some clear roads. It's a lot of fun with usually around 15-20 S2000s attending. Last year's thread is here.
As part of the "Druid" theme, the route will broadly follow "Britain's Oldest Road", known as "The Ridgeway" from Ivinghoe Beacon near Tring to Overton Hill near Avebury - some info here: Ridgeway Information and we then head on to Druid Central at Stonehenge.

This is a regular driving meet from Rickmansworth to Potterspury, near Towcester, usually on the last Sunday of each month.
The route is a lovely drive on a mixture of A, B and C-roads, I try to make sure that the pace is dependent on the slowest driver, and we do wait to let folk catch up if necessary. We stick to the 30 and 40 limits through the villages. I have SatNav files and Google Maps links if people want to navigate it solo.
To avoid the traffic, we leave early in the morning from Christ Church Chorleywood Car Park.
It's on the A404 about 1/2 mile from junction 18 of the M25. The postcode is WD3 5SG.
At junction 18, take the A404 exit to Chorleywood/Amersham, past the Shell garage on your right, then past The Gate pub, also on your right. The church is opposite the pub and the entrance to the car park is a sharp left at the end of the churchyard wall.

Cranleigh Lions Classic Car Show is now in its 16th year and we know from feedback from classic owners and visitors alike, many of whom travel a long distance every year to see the show, that they really enjoy the event.
We want to continue to build the show, which has become a firm favourite for many families, so that we can offer value for money to everyone who attends.
Cranleigh Lions Classic Car Show is a Charity Event and all the profit we make goes to selected Charities and Cranleigh Lions local good causes. Unpaid volunteers run the show and the Club does not take any money out for administration.

The Gold Cup is hosted at Oulton Park and regarded as the North's biggest historic race meeting, much like Silverstone Classic.
Oulton Park's signature event returns in 2015, with three days of historic action on August Bank Holiday Weekend. On-track there will be a bumper line-up organised by the Historic Sport Car Club, whilst off it will be a retro atmosphere as the venue is filled with classic cars and family friendly attractions.
Racing highlights will include the Derek Bell Trophy, which recalls the Gold Cups of the 1970s, in which Formula 5000 and Formula 2 cars regularly competed for the prestigious trophy. Historic Formula 3 and Formula Ford machines will be amongst the other single-seater categories in action.
GTs and tin tops will also compete, from 1970s sports-prototypes in the Martini Trophy, to stunning saloons from the BTCC's '90s heyday, with the popular Super Touring Trophy expected to return.
On top of that, there will also be Air Displays, Classic & Performance Car Displays and much more. All in all, a great family day out!]

All the pubs will be in Cheshire and should hopefully be a tad more central for more of the NW enthusiasts.
