09:15 Stop at Wallingford at Thames Street Car Pay & display car park and toilets (no parking charge on Sunday)

12:00 Lunch at the Rose and Thistle pub, Rockbourne. Rose and Thistle

This is not a fast run, but is a moderate one with all types of road ranging from single with passing places to fast dual carriageway. If it's wet then it will be a slowish run!

*** THERE ARE TWO SPEED CAMERAS ON ROUTE, 1 AT EAST HENDRED/WEST HENDRED (40mph) AND 1 AT TIDWORTH (30mph) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ***

The afternoon run is a 2 hour scenic route criss crossing the New Forest before heading back up towards the A303, A30, M4 Wantage and Wallingford so that people can drop off and return home on whatever route they wish. It's free time run and you can drop in and out of the route or go where you want. It is essential to keep to the speed limits in the New Forest (30 and 40mph) as there are always a number of animals killed in this area each month. You can expect to encounter walkers, cyclists, donkeys, ponies, horses, cattle and pigs on the road, and apart from the first two THEY WILL NOT MOVE OUT OF YOUR WAY! Additionally we cross three fords early on the run, but on my last visit (8 October after the heavy rain) only one had water over it.
