Thanks to everyone for coming, and for having a good time!

14 cars was a fantastic turn out, and a special thanks must go to Soupdragon & Tinyclanger for being the middlecar, as well as Suzybee for bringing up the rear. Keeping 14 cars together of the south east's busy-ish roads is quite an achievement!

Thanks to everyone who's attended this year, see you again in February (weather dependent of course).

Keep an eye on the meets section, as I may do a run at relatively short notice if the weather is looking especially nice one Sunday.

Great turn out for the last run of the year. Thoroughly enjoyable as always although nobody wants to see a "RAMP" sign on a Ricky Run. Especially when you have a silly low car like mine.

Loved being behind Dan and his mate (sorry don't know your forum name - or your real name for that matter ) who were making some lovely noises with their rev matching

I have a question and it is very likely to be a stupid one but when everyone was listening to my TCT both lovegroova and Spikey asked if my music was playing. I drove home with the roof up and radio off yet I am convinced I can hear a noise like classical music coming from my car. It sounds like violin music. Is this worrying?

Thanks lovegroova and I'll definitely check the forums for impromptu runs.

Saz,

It was probably your remaining brain cells mourning the murder of so many of their comrades last night!

Glad you had a good run. Sorry I couldn't make it.

Violin music coming from your car does sound weird Saz. Was going to suggest this but presumably lovegroova and Floppy were listening to your TCT whilst the car was stationary?

"EEEEEEEeeeee
WHERE: Inside the wheels.
WHEN: Slowing down; it's sometimes worse on damp days.
WHAT: Your brake pads are stroking the discs like a violin bow.
URGENCY: Sometimes they do that. Your brakes still work fine.
FIX: Try new pads, adhesive to hold pads to the piston or shims to insulate the piston from the pads. Another option: earplugs. (Sometimes the sound is difficult to eliminate.)"

Sazzy - if I were you I would stay off the booze - sounds a bit dodgy hearing violin music coming from the car!

Thanks for another great run Simon. Sazzy, does it sound like Brahms or Liszt ?
