I thought they started taking the ponies and cattle out of the Forest at this time of year, until the pigs have eaten all the acorns. Then its safe for them to go back.

I'll be travelling from West Sussex to Cornwall on that day so a small detour may be in order.
Did the final timing run yesterday in the sunshine and the animals are still all around at the moment. It does make driving 'interesting' when you round a corner and meet horses just standing in the middle of the road - but eventually they do move.

Are you intending to join us on the run from the start?

As the say, The More the Merrier.

Hi Pippa

Glad to have you along if you are not working. Haven't got a time that we will be going through Lambourn on B4001/B4000 from Wantage, but will be going through Rowstock on A417 at 09:50 to pick up Hudson Bay and Gaxxy.

As you're local you can work out the time!!

Hi le sau,

Me and the wife could be interested in meeting up for lunch and the drive afterwards, do you have the route map for the drive around the forest as we will need to find a point to depart afterwards to head back to Ringwood.

Thanks in advance,

Andrew

Hi Andrew

Yes, after about 2 hours we end up around Bramshaw so it would be an easy run back to Ringwood down the A31. Send me your email address and I will send route as a TomTom file.

Regards

Would be happy to have you join us for lunch at the Rose & Thistle. What sort of wimp are you , we will be driving down whatever the weather - if it rains it just becomes a slow run!! Get the Nurby out and join us whatever the weather - just put the roof up.
