Staying overnight in Andover Travel Lodge. What time do we reckon to meet up at Barton Stacey Esso ?


AA reckons 14 mins from Barton Stacy to Middle Wallop. How about meet at 8am - 8.15 ish

Yeah, 8am at Barton Stacey sounds about right with a quick pull in at the Murco station near the airfield on the way to pick up Jack into out little convoy.

Alistair @Pajebeach2000 & @tonytail what are your travel plans for the morning. are we meeting you there or at Barton Stacey ?

Sorry chaps but I have to be at a family funeral in Inverness Wednesday to Friday next week. Therefore I won't be staying at the nearby Wallop hotel on Friday night and won't be at Murco filling station as originally planned.

I'll do my best to journey down with Tom on Saturday but if I'm not there I hope you'll understand.

Hi my scheduled arrival time is the 07.30- 08-00.

Like others I have the joy of closed M25

The route I normally drive from home would be towards Guildford then along A31 …straight through Winchester - it’s very early in the morning! After this towards Stockbridge from there onwards towards The Wallops. It cuts out the M3/ A303 holiday traffic.


Given the current weather forecast it looks like wrap up warm and bring an umbrella !
