Hey Northern Texas S2000 Owners.....

The Gateway S2000 owners would like to invited you to attend the Gateway S2000 "Hills of Missouri" Run on May 13th and 14th beginning here is St. Louis. Zoomer from the Ark-La-Tex S2000 Owners group recommended that I extend this invitation to all of you. I hope that this is not to far of a drive and am hoping that you will be able to attend.

We will gather about 20 miles west of St. Louis at Babler State park and enjoy some windies and twisties heading south into Arkansas on some of the most beautiful and scenic roads in Missouri. Spend the evening in Bull Shoals and then back to St. Louis the next day.

We hope that you can come. If interested, post in the "Hills of Missouri" Thread.

Hope to see you this May!

My parents live close to there in Pacific. It is a very pretty area in spring, and has some fun roads. It is about a 9 hour drive from Plano though.

The drive to St. Louis by way of the Oklahoma Turnpike isn't too bad. Of course you get to drive under the "Golden Arches" at the only McDonald's that actually straddles the turnpike. We made the drive a few times on our way to Indianapolis for USGP F1. If you start out after work from DFW your arrival will be about the time the sun rises over the Gateway Arch. Too bad this event isn't closer to USGP in June...

Hey Texas - North Texas S2000 Owners ..... Last chance to indicate if you would like to participate in the Hills of Missouri run. Now that the year draws to a close, we will only be 4 months away from this event

I think we are good as far as the route goes (with some minor detailing), but now it's time to plan and reserve our overnight stay in Bull Shoals.

Therefore.. I need final commitments for all that want to come along.

Please post your interest in the Gateway S2000 Owners pinned Hills of Missouri run thread.

I've already started looking at hotels but am unable to strike any deals without a head count. I'm expecting around $75-$85/night (for 2 people) at a hotel. We can get a little cheaper by staying at a Motel 8 or Days Inn, but for $20 more you get a much better room with a view. A 50% nonrefundable deposit of the cost will be due to me at time of booking. We will work out those details later.

But first YOU need to commit. Indicate final commitment and if you will be bringing a co-driver. Please do so by no later than 1/15.

This is going to be fun , I can't wait to go

We, here in St. Louis, hope that you and your families had a wonderful Christmas and wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year!.

Hi again Texas S2000 Owners.....

Just wanted to send you an update. ...

We are nearing the time to make reservations for this event and wanted to see if any of you were still interested in attending. You are more than welcome to attend!

Having a confirmed head count will allow me to negotiate evening rates with the local hotels, motels, or even private cabins that are in the area.

If you could let me know by posting here or in the "Hills of Missouri" thread I would greatly appreciate it.

Hope you can make it. We do have some interest from the KC, Upper Midwest, Ark, LA, TEX groups, so here would be your opportunity to meet members from four s2ki near you.

Another idea would be to design you own run into "Bull Shoals", meet up with the Gateway and other clubs in Bull Shoals the evening of May 13th, then head back down to Texas the following day.
