Even though David is your Buddy, I can't get you the full service history since I can't be certain that I'm violating any privacy issues...sorry. I can get you the recall history since that's public info you can get from Carfax and such. I have afeeling David didn't service his car at a Honda dealership much so I couldn't be sure of the info anyway. My resources only track visits to the Honda Dealerships.

And to DFWS2K....I can't help you get anything done for free. If you have a legitimate claim for a Recall service then you should be eligible for it regardless of my intervention. I would visit the Honda dealership which you have the best service relationship with and see if they could help you.
As far as I know from talking to honda care and customer service if you have proof of ownership you have access to service records. The only thing we need David (the original owner's) permission for is to transfer the hondacare warranty he purchased originally to my girlfriend's name.

Either way, check with the service manager and if you can email me the recall info or let me know when I can pick it up since I'd like to see which TSB's were done.

TSB's completed by Lute Riley include the clutch (rattle), soft top striker plates (too loose), tail lights (fog), rear axle nuts (clicking axle), and axle hub carriers (vibration).

Only outstanding issue you need to take care of is getting the seat belt recall done. They will pull the entire interior and you will get some new rattles...good luck.

You will need to PM me the Radio Serial #.

To get the # all you have to do is turn your radio OFF.
Press and hold 1 and 6 together
and turn your radio back on while holding 1 and 6.
Your Serial # should be displayed.

Yeah, as if the car didn't have enough squeeks and rattles already

What does the seatbelt recall involve? We won't die if it's not done tomorrow will we?

This thread explains it pretty well: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...=0&#entry141804

It is a recall so any dealer will do if free of charge.
