I may be selling... just moved into the Carrollton area... getting married... looking into..egads... a family car.

Car:

2002 Suzuka Blue
55K miles
Stock (only mod is K&N air filter)
New Kumho MX rear tires, 70% tread front S02's

Bought the car used with some blemishes and there is a slight dent on top of passenger fender where someone decided to sit on the car (talked to dent wizard, about $250 to remove)

Send email to cycldav@hotmail.com if interested.

Haha, if Hoosier only made a 445 width rear tire.

Fred, I'd say your car is worth a lot more than that...

I can't see myself selling my S2000 because I can't think of a car I'd like to replace it with.

Mallet Pontiac Solstice with the s/c C6 corvette engine?

Elise/Exige with K20 or B18C5 swap

Porsche Cayman

Z4 M coupe/roadster (343 hp)

Of course all those cars are considerably more expensive than a new S2000 but that's all I can think of in the similar perfomance coupe/roadster categories.

All valid replacements for an S2000. But for me personally, the minimal (if any!) increase in driving enjoyment does not warrant the significant increase in cost. (Of course a lot of that is based on speculation, not having driven in any of the above cars.)

True, I feel the same way. The only trend I see is that all these cars have significantly more power and most importantly torque, especially the 400 hp 400 tq LS2 powered solstice. The elise is probably a bit more nimble but the Cayman and Z4 Mcoupe/roadster are probably similar in road feel, just with about 80-100 more hp.

I really have no interest in selling. But then again, the new ZO6 has perked my interest. By the way, I'm back in Dallas.
