Default Where to? might need a new clutch

recently I started to feel hard to getting into gears right after start the car..
it gets better once it's running but it's just not as smooth or ease as b4
plus the weather is so warm lately, so I seriously doubt the temp has anything to do with it.

I started to wonder if my clutch is in need for a replacement (have almost 100k now)

can someone recommend a good shop to do such job? and how much will it probably cost me?

thx

When was the last time you changed your trans fluid? Sometimes that helps.

I added fluid to the clutch fluid res. and it fixed the problem almost instantly.

yea i'd do a fluid change first and check the slave/master cylinder...

your symptoms don't necessarily sound like a fading clutch...

Not even a change, just add, them pump the clutch about a dozen times.

If it's been a long time (or never) you should change the fluid as clutch fluid is the same as brake fluid which is hydroscopic (absorbs water from the atmosphere over time) which can lead to air bubbles in the hydraulic system.

I would fill it up and then flush whatever old fluid/air is in there and start from fresh. That should take care of the problem for a while (instead of just temporarily).
