Default Wheel spacers...

I wanted to get some advice/2nd opinions on wheel spacers. I am looking forward to buy some wheels and my problem is that the wheels come at a +30 offset. The sales person told me that the wheels will come with a 1/4" spacer and it will correct the off sets. If you have used spacers, please share your thoughts

I am gravitated to the HP R5 18x8 F 18x9 R

All comments and suggestions are very welcome..

Thanks in advance...

KT

The sales person is either 1) not too bright or 2) lying to your face. The spacer will only aggravate the problem of offsets that are already too low. Higher offset numbers move the wheel towards the centerline of the vehicle and vice versa.

The sales guy is a idiot.. a spacer would lower the offset not raise it. Anyways a 1/4" spacer is about 7mm so basically you will be running a +23 offset wheel all around.

Who are you buying wheels from?

Look again! The only criteria they used to give you that selection was bolt pattern.

Id like to stay below $2000. I was glad to know the price of wheels and tires were at 1400. Thank you..
