I meant to post this morning, but forgot... This is an alert for all you on the west side of town... Pay attention Brian (Geek)... At Davis and Southlake Blvd, the wonderful police deppartment has been sitting there waiting on people to do the most minute traffic violations and giving tickets.

This morning a lady in front of me turned left from SLB to Davis and crossed the white line RIGHT before she was completely past it and got pulled over. There was already a patrol car pulled over with somone else right there on Davis as well.

Same guy as last week... I gave him a 7K rev as I went by... Made him look...

 

I work in Southlake and I absolutely hate there police force. They say they don't have quotas to meet but f you drive through there after about th 27th of the month you see so many people getting yanked. I got a ticket coming off an of ramp to the access road off of 114 for 61 in a 40 and he clocked me before I was even to the access road.

 

i live in north NRH over there by the davis and precinct line merge thing... i avoid south lake like the plague those cops will pull you over for anything.

actually speaking of getting pulled over for anything. my first ticket in the S was in NRH doing 53 in a 45... no end of the month quota my ass..

 

Southlake PD sucks. I grew up in Keller, so ask me how I know.

The worst was when I had just gotten my new '01 C5 and I was 23 cruising through town with the targa off and a baseball cap on. Well, I was heading on Davis towards Southlake Blvd (1709) and it goes from 55 to 45 and I was going like 58. Well, just as I cross the sign for 45 a lady in a Navigator blows by me going at least 65 in the left lane and I glance over and see a motorcycle cop shooting towards me after the Nagivator had already gone by. I saw him DISTINCTLY point at both the Navigator and my car.

Guess who he pulled over? Got me for 56 in a 45. As he was writing the ticket he even had the nerve to ask me how old I was and said I had a nice car.
