Default Wednesday roads

I drove 25 miles on Monday to work early in the morning. Had a few pucker situations, but all was well.

This morning, pulled out of the garage, slid around the neighborhood and pulled back into the garage. Screw that. It's nasty outside.

Anyone else venture outside yet?

Had the same experience, monday was ok around 10:30 in the morning but today was messed up. Traction control kicked in about 4 times before I even got out of the apt complex so I turned around and put the car back in the garage.

I milked it and worked from home yesterday so when I got up at 4:45 and saw what was going on I went back to bed.

Drove in 4WD all the way from Mansfield to Irving today. Took me 2 hours to get to work- normally takes 40-50 minutes.

Without 4WD I couldn't go more than maybe 5 mph- my Trooper would wheelspin in 4th gear at around 1500 RPM!

Fun stuff- I enjoy the 4-wheel drifting.

I made it from Wylie to Richardson (13 miles) in an hour. It's definitely sketchy out there. From what I hear, our roads aren't as bad as some of those in the west, though.

Wimps...

JK - it is nasty out there, i definitely would have stayed home if the S was my daily driver.

I drove from coppell to westlake and it took me slightly over an hour.

I don't have 4WD, but I have a traction control and LSD that totally rock. I only had one place in Grapevine where I had to turn it off to get the car to start moving on the ice (slightly upward incline)... My rear wheels will not turn if it senses slippage...

not looking forward to the drive home, thats for sure....
