I'm at Texas Instruments for work next week.
I was wondering if there are any good bars or pubs in the area that you guys would recommend ?

I'm staying in Allen, Texas (75013)
Be there Wed, and Thursday.

Two rows in Allen has dollar house pint beer on mondays, you may want to check it out.

Actually, Two Rows is where we have our monthly GTG on Tuesdays. They have dollar domestic pints Monday, Tuesday and Wedenesday I think. The food is pretty good too and quite a variety. Northwest corner of I75 (central expwy) and Bethany in Allen.

It's no pub/tavern but then again you'd be hard pressed to find a good "bar, bar" in the area. More of a restaurant than a bar.

Which TI will you be working at? If you pass through Richardson, the Fox & Hound on Campbell (about a block west of 75) has $2 pints on Tuesday nights.

I prefer the Fox and Hound myself. And the dollar domestics at two rows are non of the variety I care for, which coming from someplace w/good pubs may be worth mentioning

There are two true bars in Plano (Austin Avenue and The End Zone). They both stay open until 2am and are both located on W. Parker Rd. just a few minutes from Allen.

I can't say that I frequent them, but they are definitely BARS.

Hey guys thanks for the input. I actually don't even have much time to get out. I'm in Allen TX right now. The hotel is right across from Two Rows! (Hilton Garden Inn)

Yeah, TI Plano, and yes, I'm here for DLP.
I'll tell you one thing, DLP is going further than just HDTV's for your home!
