I thought so too.

I did have a honda mechanic tell me he thought the heads on the S2000 were pretty weak though...

But I'm no expert...

The head can have problems if you over rev, but it was around 7500 or 8k so it was fine to shift to. I watched the Tach go up and not even red line before the car died. I looked in to what i can and everything looks fine but i'm not Todd. Maybe if i do have to pull the engine i'll go for a stroker kit

I will put it on my calendar and plan on being there to meet everyone. This will probably be my first meet/drive.

Every time I've driven up that way, there have been a bunch of pickups with trailers hauling motorcycles or 4 wheelers.

There are several ranches and parks where you can ride dirt bikes and ATVs up that way. It can be a common issue all along the red river.

Its never too cold to go top down. You just need to buy a bigger coat.

Well you must not drive up here very much

I am a local and I know which road to avoid. All of the people that go to Bulcher to ride dirtbikes and ATV's go up 373 in the early morning. By the time we will be rolling through there should be no traffic to deal with. Also by going so late in the year there will be a very minimal chance of motorcycles on the road...They are very fair weather minded people.

On the last drive in the summer, we had only 1 car during the whole 85 mile route to deal with. Traffic is minimal because the population is very low.

Stupid Miata drivers! We rode her ass for like 10 minutes before she finally turned and then was amazed at the line of cars behind her.
