Tom,

Thanks again for arranging this drive. Not only is it one of the best drives around, but it's also a great opportunity to see a truly beautiful part of the state. I'm really looking forward to the next one.

no, we need to do hwy 4/cranfills gap next time. those roads actually require shifting and are a bit smoother and what not.

its a day long (~250mile) drive, buts its beautiful, and contains as high a quality set of roads as any in texas outside of the Hill country.
Would you be willing to lead a drive? pm me some details of the roads and what not and we can make it happen, maybe the austin group would join in the fun too

Yeah, that's definitely a full day drive (which I'm always a fan of), and that area near Cranfills Gap, Hamilton, and Gatesville are some of the best roads in Texas.

Tom, if we do something like that, I'm sure John and a few from Austin would definitely be up for it too.

oh yeah, I love the Koffee Kup. That's been a stop on a couple drives I've done the past few years.

Sure, also im sure there are others (like trentor and those from austin) that may have more recent experience with them than I. either way, we definitely should put something together soon!
