Tom's Turbine Drive - 11/2/13
Want to play on the best roads north of Denton? Love to drive? How about seeing beautiful vistas and an unforgettable ridge along the Red River. Not to mention wind turbines on the way. Well this drive is for you!
Over 500 miles have been scouted over the past 2 months and now a suitable route has been planned. Be ready for the best of what the border has to offer.

We will meet at 1:30 pm on Saturday, Nov. 2
Horizon Convenience Storemore info
901 North Stemmons Street
Sanger, TX 76266
EXIT 478 on I-35.
It is on the west side of I-35. If the lot is full, park at the oil change shop just to the west.
We will continue on through Slidell, Forestburg, and through Muenster is where the Turbines are.
You will get to see the Red River which separates Texas and Oklahoma. The river is actually red colored because of the soil. There is virtually no traffic on these roads because of the rural nature of the area. We will then make our way back through and end up in St. Jo for an early dinner if everyone so chooses.
When we get to Muenster, you will be able to sample German food and beer at the Center Restaurant.

Tom, thanks for organizing. Wish I could make it, but I'll be instructing for Apex Driving Academy @ MSRC that day. Plus, I'd be too tempted to bring my dirt bike....Red River Motorcycle Trails in Muenster is an awesome place to ride. Nice roads out that way, hope everyone has a great time.

Chris, you should come up to the trails. We will be going right by them on the drive!.
I've picked out the roads that are in the best condition since 09. It will really be a treat guys!
I wish I could have a whole saturday off myself. Not in the forseeable future. I have the ECR Toy Drive to look forward too though!.

Thanks for inviting NTEC, I'll be there with my girlfriend in my white '10 Evo X. Been a while since I signed in and posted on S2ki! I had a black '02 AP1 back in the day
