ok so i got pulled over tonight for no front plate and expired inspection.. both fix it tickets, but heres the thing.. the cop told me he would mail me the ticket.. ive never heard anything like this.. i had to sign something the electronic thing, but ive never had a ticket mailed to me.. need some opinions here

I got zipties if you want to put on the front plate and snap a pic. If it were me, I'd be ready to go w updated inspection sticker and pic of car w front plate to send in once you get letter.

I would wait till feb to renew inspection to get 8 more days for your money :3. If it is mailed you won't get it till next week. I think when a bud of mine got a 107 in a 65 + no front plate in Allen he still had a $10 fine for the plate after going to the court with it ziptied on his car.

That's just a $10 dismissal fee, not a fine.

Just so everyone knows, some of the cop cars are equipped with video equipment that automatically checks license plate numbers to see if inspection and registration is up to date. The cop doesn't have to actually see that it's expired at all. His car will let him know!

its not that.. ive gotten a lot of tickets in my day. and ive NEVER been pulled over and had the ticket mailed to me.. i was just wondering if this is new.. i tried looking it up last night, but couldnt find anything

All those cops were being douche bags last night!! I don't understand why he followed to to a traffic light then pulled you over, he mght ad well have done it at the gas station..
