Thumbs up Thinking of trading my 03 WRX for S2000

Hey everyone,

I'm a 03 subie WRX owner and love it, however I drove an S2000 about a year ago and also loved it. My car is in great shape, its got a small door ding, but other than that its flawless. What are the chances I would be able to trade it straight up for an S2000? I am looking for a 02+ still in warranty.

Thanks for the advice,
Kris

I think it might be a little hard to get a straight trade for an 02+ with low miles. You would probably have to consider an 00-01 with more miles.

Considering that you can get into a brand new leftover '04 WRX for right around $20-21k, and considering that very few '02+ S2000s are available for sale in the same price range, I'd say your chances of trading "straight up" are pretty slim.

Take into account the fact that you'll never get as much trading in your car as you might be able to get by selling it privately, and I'd guess you'd be looking at making up about $4-5k to get into an '02+ S2000 that's still under warranty coverage.
