OK. I will run in Yellow should I decide to sign-up. I've been out of town so much recently I haven't had much of a chance to think about it and play with my calendar (and budget).

Yeah, any news on the discount?

I have run clockwise in the red group. It was my first time to run clokwise, as it was for most people.and they put me in the red group. Needless to say I was a little nervous. But since most drivers had not run clockwise everyone was a little cautious. I think you will find it alot of fun this way. Be sure to checkout some video in the cw direction. I think mxt 77 has some out there somewhere to preview. Also I think there might be a video on the driversedge home page.. I hope there are a bunch of us out there. I am considering some changes to my car and would like to see what yall have already done: ie mxt 77's amuse single ti exhaust. Gerry

Yep. You can go to my web page if you Click here. Videos are near the bottom. The first 4 are all at MSR clockwise. One is a "teaser" or promotional style video. One is a high-res video of a couple of laps, and the other are normal web-quality videos of a couple of laps.

Edit: By the way, don't assume that I'm taking the proper line, or even close to the proper line (especially on the entry to the rattlesnake, I wasn't comfortable with that off-camber turn, so I never really took the right line there).

Any other track newbies going? I'll be in the "I've autocrossed a dozen times, but even thinking about the track makes me all nervous & excited" group. Anyone know what color that is? Hopefully not green

Honestly, I'm really psyched, but my stomach gets all butterflies when I actually think about the event. It should be good fun. Beyond the list of certified mechanics that DE recommends, is there anyone on the board that can to a tech inspection of a car for the event?

You may be lumped into Green to start since you've never hit the track before, but you will move up to Blue if you catch on quickly and your instructor deems you worthy.

As for tech inspection, I think your instructor can do the inspection for you when you get there provided you know who your instructor is prior to arriving and you arrange it with him/her beforehand. TypeSH may be able to offer a bit more insight on this. I wish we could tech at the track since I'm capable of inspecting and repairing (if necessary) any item on the checklist.

CC, you should request TypeSH (David R.) as an instructor. He has instructed several S2000 drivers at MSR and has done several days out there in his own S2000.

I have been in red the last three time I have run it clockwise, so I expect that is where Rick will put me. I prefer CW to CCW.

OK, I signed up and requested the Yellow run group. We'll see what Rick says. Now to figure out where to get the pesky inspection done...
