Aren't those for true Race car use. I would think GT sports or a level or 2 above that would be good enough for HPDE's. Wouldn't Spec VR's wear our the rotors faster?

Rotors are a "wear item", though, just like pads & tires. IIRC, a set of rotors cost about the same as a set of these pads, so they aren't that expensive, relatively speaking.

For those who have registered for this event, what run group are you registered for? I'm a little flexible on which I would choose and it's generally more fun to be on course with someone you know vs. a bunch of strangers.

I've been driving solo for a while now. But I've never done MSR clockwise, so I don't know where I'll end up. If I had to guess, I'll be in Advanced but they'll have an instructor do a check ride for the new course configuratoin.
