I have been watching the weather lately. Dallas area is around 30% and Houston is 10%. Right now we have a Houston crew of about 7 confirmed cars possibly more.

A Houston drive we had a while back had a 40 or 50% chance of rain I think it was and that entire day we only had to put our tops up once and it was only for a slight rain. My opinion is that unless its over a 50% chance, postponing should not even really be considered. Thats just my .02 though.
Don't worry YZER - we definitely would not move the date unless the situation looked absolutely hopeless. I know many of you have hotel reservations, etc. (not to mention the catering, etc.) and most impostantly, dude - we've got to celebrate your 21st in style!!!

Ya! That what im talkin about. haha. Thanks for the posative feedback, all this weather talk has been getting me worried. Im sooo excited about this weekend. Are there any liquor stores close to the ending restaraunt? Im assuming some of the Houston crew will be having some drinks in the Hotel. Im usually not a very big partier but it is my 21st bday and all.

Beer and wine stores only in the Northern 'burbs and the Dallas liquor stores won't be open when you're driving up. Might want to plan ahead if that's what you're looking for. They do have a full bar at Two Rows.

Well, now that I think about it, I think I will be ok with what a convenient store has to offer. I probably wont want to hit the hard stuff too much since I will have a 6 or so hour drive the next day.

Oh and thanks for the offer Moron, I may have to take you up on that.

To give you an idea, we are putting together 100 gift bags just in case. BTW...here is what will be included in each Honda gift bag...

- Event T-Shirt
- Copy of Texas Driver Magazine
- Dealership coffee mug
- Event program
- Cardstock windshield placard for name and car info
- Name tag
- Raffle ticket (total value of raffle items now $4,000+)
Will we be able to choose what shirt size we want? I'm kind of picky about that. I don't want one i can't wear.

hes got a good point. every time work sponsors give us t-shirts they are always L, XL, and XXL. maybe they assume computer guys are all overweight. will there be any medium sized shirts available?
