I agree with VAL about the VAFC. However, the FlashPro is actually the reason WHY I passed my inspection, since it allows me to disable the secondary O2 sensor AND CEL associated with it.

ive passed the past 4 years with afc neo and test pipe. no check engine light ur good to go.

i have the vafc2 also and no probs. i have it mounted into the drivers visor tho. if u dont pull down u dont see.

To support information dissemination, I should say that one of my buddies got failed in his sti for having a test pipe, even though there was no cel.

I referred him to the place I usually go to, and he passed no problem.

Any idea why they failed him? Did it have to do with the readiness codes, or was it a visual / smell thing?

I was failed a couple weeks ago due to an exhaust leak at the muffler, but once I put a different muffler on, they passed it immediately without repeating the OBDII test.

If someone actually looks under the car they can fail it for not having a cat on there, but I know personally I never look. Like most have said, no CEL=pass. As long as the readiness monitors are set.
