I've been lurking for awhile and listening, and did the search but haven't turned up anything yet. Is there a local shop that does tech inspections for DE's? I've got a road trip to MSR-Houston coming up and need a tech inspection but am not quite sure where to go.

A friend of mine and a couple of his friends from the Porsche club are going down to a DE early in December. Should be a great time.

 

For the Driver's edge Tech inspection, any certified mech can do that for you, the thing is to do it for free if you can find it.

I went to autoscope in plano, but I'm a bmwcca member so they did it for free. I do believe it's free for NTS2K members (somebody correct me on this???)

A kwik kar mech will do it for you for around $30.

 

Talk to Susan at Goodson Acura. She will take care of you and they are very friendly to the racing community...

I'm a little surprised at the Acura dealer though. I though DEs and AX were instant death to your warranty.
