Sprint employees
I know a few work for cingular and was wondering if anyone works for sprint?
If so I might be looking to get a pda phone near the end of the month or mid next month and was wondering what you would suggest.
Also it might help to like make a sticky for phone service since they seem to be threads about them having deals etc on a regular basis
Thanks

I used to work for Sprint... if your contract is up, id ditch them and go to ATT!
Anyway, i do know some of my friends who still work for Sprint, so ill ask them if they have any suggestions.

I just don't hear to many good things about ATT but depending on the cost of plans I might think about switching from my families plan so I can get better phones

i like ATT for the phone service, and that is what I use for the phone that I actually talk on, but I use my Sprint phone/service for messaging and as mobile internet.
I do like the voice coverage of ATT better, and the SIM card is a way better way to go.

See I primarily am wanting to find out what would be a good phone to do messaging and mobile internet.
Sim cards are nice but since I don't change phones that often I don't really see the use for them unless I'm unaware of an added bonus besides being able to use anyones phone by switching sim cards or keeping your old data in a new phone.

i have a treo on sprint that I use for what you're talking about, and it sucked so much as a phone, that it was less hassle to just get a good phone to talk on, and thats why I got my ATT phone.

Up until now I've worked in the wireless industry. We've always called Sprint "Ghetto PCS." IN the past that is where you went if you had shit credit. In terms of voice quality they just can't hang with ATT or Verizon. Give me a SIM card or gtfo. Their phones absolutely suck in comparison to ATT/Verizon/TMob. Ditch the Sprint and go with ATT, Verizon, or TMob. Their coverage sucks anyway.
