Hand sanding will only last a short period of time. My first time to go thru the TCT ordeal, I went to Marcucci and he hand sanded the part. That "fix" lasted about 2-3 weeks and then it needed to be replaced and modded with a sandblasted one.

not that i don't trust him, but he didn't sand it well enough if it only lasted 2-3 weeks. sorry buddy.

Unfortunately, his handsanding is not as powerful as a sandblaster. The Mobil 1 i was using was too good and actually "polished" the piston that needs the sanding. No need for apology; The problem is that hand sanding is inadequate.

yeah, i'll hand sand mine again when it starts to get problematic.
