uh, you don't need to sandblast it. you can accomplish this by spending $5 on sandpaper at home depot and doing it by hand.

the blasting worked for me when i lived in NJ. buddy that works @ a custom wheel store did the work

not saying sandblasting doesn't work. i'm saying a couple dollars worth of sandpaper from lowes or home depot and 5 minutes of your time will accomplish the exact same goal. the worm gear is close to the size of a cap of a sharpie. it will take you longer to reassemble the TCT than it will to pull it and sand it.

Hand sanding will only last a short period of time. My first time to go thru the TCT ordeal, I went to Marcucci and he hand sanded the part. That "fix" lasted about 2-3 weeks and then it needed to be replaced and modded with a sandblasted one.

i was thinkin to do it myself with sandpaper which i have plenty of but did not want to mess it up. my buddy took it and in meantime (3days) he blasted it for me. i drove my pickup at the time til the TCT was back in. few weeks later i drove 1600 plus miles to TX and no probs.
