[QUOTE=altiain,Sep 29 2006, 09:58 AM] Overall, I think we did pretty well, but we were both a little disappointed to finish out of the trophies. Jon was only nine thousandths of a second out of the trophies on Tuesday, but he never managed to put together a really good run on Wednesday. On the other hand I was well within the top 10 on Wednesday, but I coned away the 1st run on Tuesday, backed off slightly on the 2nd run to get a clean one in the books, and then coned the 3rd run as well, which left me sitting in 18th at the end of the first day. Hey guys...
OK, so I have the info, but work has been insane so I've been nearly missing everything on the board for a couple of months:
Our current "official" helmet rules (just in case anyone cares at this point )
A Snell M-95/SA-95 or newer helmet must be worn by any driver or passengers. There are generally 3 or 4 loaner helmets that meet this specification available at each event.
PS... if anyone couldn't un-register and can't make it, drop a line on the board today. We are currently at 43 participants, and have adjusted the course to only have 4 corner worker stations.
Going to wash the car, change to my racing shoes and change the oil...

Just because I said to post up didn't mean I wanted anyone to actually back out at te last minute
Sorry you can't make it guys... we've got one more left after this, so you'll have to try to make it out next time around...
We're off to Mineral Wells to the Best Western for a lovely nights stay close to the course.
See you all tomorrow

What a great day - Fun event and great weather. This event seemed to go smoothly. Thanks to those that made this possible - Elistan, Ego, TailChaser, Clovis (course design), etc. Only one more event this year.
