Nivek, what happened with the Integra?
I don't know exactly what caused it but the top seam of the radiator was leaking some coolant. There are a few causes I need to look into. I was running the whole course in 2nd so the sustained high RPM's definitely heated the car up. I now know the temp gauge in the car does nothing, not that I expected it to be accurate but it never moved from its normal position. I need to see if the cooling fans are working because I never heard them on.

But I didn't loose much coolant and the car was fine after a little cool down drive and has been running fine since. I will get a new radiator since I know this one has a weak spot.

It was great to finally get back out there, especially in such a fun car! I really enjoyed the course, it was fast and really made you balance the car. While the rain made my feet soggy it was fun to get to drive in the various conditions and it cooled them temp down! Hope to see y'all next time with some better tires!

Edit: If anyone got any pictures of my car I would love to see them! Need to get Erik Anderson down for the next event.

Thanks to Clovis and turbolane for getting the course set up.
Thanks to Doug for handling registration while I set up timing and EgoThreat was handling a broken AC back at home.
Thanks to Clovis and QUICKAG for letting me do some laps in their cars.
Cosmos, glad to hear your troubles were temporary.
Nivek, what happened with the Integra?
Thanks to Doug for letting turbolane drive his car, AATees for letting svann dirve his car, and all the other car sharing - great community, people.
I think SVANN should give me at least one of those 81 second runs since it was in my car . OK, I'm an engineer. I build better cars than I can drive; I admit it.

Regards,

Al

So is this where I get to talk trash about Lane running more than 2 seconds behind me(... in the same car)?

Damn bald street tires.

Good win in S2000 class, Corey. I will have fresh tires next time, so beware.

Awww...come on. Just look at your times! You can get one more event out of those tires

Don't worry...I'll have something new prepared for you. I'd be breaking trend if I ran the same setup in consecutive events Better bring your A-game along with new tires
