I'll say this about the RX-8 - a decent set of tires, a proper alignment, and a set of OTS Konis make a HUGE difference. Truly night and day. By the way, I found a place that has a set of 245/40/18 Toyo RA-1 for about 550+shipping so I may snag a set of spare stock wheels and get those after some shocks.

I'd love to ride along but I'm living in Lufkin now so I can't just whip up to Mineral Wells on a whim (4.5 hour drive, at least). Thanks for the offer, though. I'll still make it to the occasional auto-x (not like I made a lot when I was living in Fort Worth) but they'll be few and far between.

It is slow and underpowered, but it is a lot of fun to drive. Now I have to decide what to do with the blue car... just got it out of the shop today for wheel bearing #5 (and the last time it will have to be done)...

My Integra MAY be there now... had some good smoke blow today... going to do some checking tomorrow to see if I can find out why... I am hoping it was just burn off from a leaky oil pan gasket...
