Yeah, but I had the impression it wasn't running up to snuff or wasn't set up for this length course.
I am used to them making my head snap when they are on Pennington field and while fast it was slow/fast if you know what I mean. It just might have been the lack of reference points that made it appear slower than it was.
Now if the R rubber S did a 58 and he did a 55 then the Ultralite would probably have been faster - with a good driver behind the wheel.

It was very interesting to watch him run in the morning runs with those slicks.
The smallest puddle caused instant loss of all traction and if he was pointed the slightest bit off straight you knew it.
I was working corner 5 which was where all the rivers were (water runs downhill don't ya know) and we had more than our share of spins with the cars that had tread much less his walk on water tires.
