If reducing roughly 150lbs knocks 1.5-2 seconds off on a 60 second autocross course, then imagine what the S2000 would do weighing what an Elise does. That's another 8 seconds, so 52 seconds smoking the mod car by over 3 seconds.

Not bad.

Hey... that was pretty fast! Only 4 minutes! You should remember this moment.
I'm putting you on the list twice for good measure

If only I hadn't hit that cone... I think I could have turned in a bit sharper and missed it but thought I would clear it and didn't want to risk losing too much speed... oh well.

Don't forget we also usually have a 90+ second course giving you more time to makeup that 1.5-2 seconds.

Cool, my daughter actually beat someone her very first time on the autocross course and not having ever driven my car fast.
Well if they didn't feel bad about it before, they sure will now!

You going to put the stock exhaust back on adding 40lbs?
OK...Mr. 2.2L 240HP...just remember that my rev limit OWNS you.

If you want, I have a special lightweight radiator cap you can borrow. Someone also told me you can go faster if you tape up your grill opening

Quckag, unfortunately it's more like 200 lbs a passenger than 150 when you are talking LJ or I, now with April it would only have been 100+ (I am forbidden by law from disclosing a woman's weight)

On a 60 second course like this one vs the usual 90 second courses, as someone said, it probably would have been only about 1 second improvement.

Now if we'd have brought an Ultralite we're talking some serious weight shedding so then you'd have seen times lower than the mod car. 1200 lbs and 240 hp.
