Default Remember me? Check out my latest build

For all of you who followed my turbo project when I was living in Dallas, check out the results of my latest build. I wish I could bring it to your next autox. That is if it ever stoped raining down there.

Have you ever driven a really high HP car? Its just plain fun. Its was also fun designing and building it.

That is an amazing build. I hear ITBs are tough to tune and with the turbo added on, that should be even tougher. Nice results!

I'll be interested to hear your comments about day-to-day driving and such.

I also see you're revving to 9200 rpm or so! That's sick for such a highly tuned motor!

Well, yeah! My S2000 has a whopping ~200rwhp. Doesn't that qualify for really high HP?

I know that having ~500-600rwhp must be awesome, and I didn't mean for the comment to come across as snarky (if it did come across that way). I was just wondering if you had any specific intent for it. You could drag race it, since you have the built rear-end. You could road race it, if you could find the right class that allows such extreme modification. You could show it, although I suspect you'd get fewer points than a guy with a flaming body kit and park-bench rear wing. So, I was just wondering if you intend to do any of that type of stuff.

Actually ITB's are no harder to tune than the stock manifold as long as you use a MAP sensor. Its only when you try to do it without the sensor that it takes someone very skilled. The only thing thats really different than stock is the absence of an IAC which requires me to keep a little throttle while the car warms up. This takes a couple of minutes and then it idles perfectly at 900 rpm.

I would like to do a few drag strip runs, but because I only have a roll bar and not a cage, the kind of et's and speeds this car is capable of would get me thrown off the track. NHRA has become very restrictive.

If I keep the car I will definitely start autocrossing it.
