Possible to paint polished lips on wheels?
I am thinking about painting my rims two tone and I currently have a polish lip on my wheels. Is it possible to paint the lip on polished wheels? Is there a paint in which it looks like the dark deep anodized color? I want to try somthing new to give my car a more aggressive look.
Oh yeah how about anodizing? How does anodizing work? I love the deep chrome like colors it produces but I do not know if they can just tape off part of the wheels and only anodize the lips.

Don't Anodize...it Scratches easier. With the advancements in Powdercoating you can achieve the same look while getting a more durable finsh. Tey'll get the paint/powdercoat to stick by sandblasting your wheel. So it's Possible to get the look you want. As aa matter of fact...anything is possible so long as you can pay the bill.

The way I want them would mean I would need to get it custom made from a 3pc design since They need to finish the outer rim and the inside. I got quoted 3100 from a custom wheel maker... little bit too heavy on my wallet right now.
