Sorry, Trent, I think your wife's right. I thought about the same thing with mine, but then I saw one and didn't like it at all. I like the polished lip too, but sometimes they make the wheel look oddly small.

I think the darkest color any wheel should be is a gunmetal or a hyper black so that it doesn't look like you have steel wheels. I'm tired of seeing everyone with black wheels. Unless your car is murdered.

Since you like the stock wheels stick with them and have them powdercoated.

This will allow you to choose from several different hues of colors, be it black, gunmetal, blue....... Mixing can achieve colors you cannot purchase from wheel manufactures on custom wheels and you can opt for different levels of gloss to get the shining effect you like best; I personally like 90% gloss, it is showroom paint gloss and show all the dirt but they sure stand out in a crowd.

If you are north of Dallas read the post I just put up on powdercoating my wheels.

heh...as little as possible. I really shouldn't be even thinking about it, but I'm going to need new tires soon, so I've started keeping my eyes open for a good wheel/tire combo deal or super cheap wheels.

Unfortunately though, I have expensive taste. I really want these, but $3-4k isn't exactly "as little as possible"

I'd like go to a staggered setup. I've liked having 245/45/18 all the way around but would like a 265/40/18 in back.

My best guess...I'll be burning through another set of Sumitomos or Star Specs on my stock wheels unless I stumble across a good deal on some 03-05 350z Track wheels. Although then I'd have to stick with the 245s all around.
