OT: Casting call
This was in my neighborhood listserv here in Austin, requesting help in Dallas. It sounds fun!

Hi Folks,
I could use some help. I've been hired to do three days of auditions in Dallas this week to find "real people" to appear in a series of ads for a food company. I'm not familiar with Dallas, so I'm out of my element. I only have a couple of days to find these people. If any of you have friends or relatives in Dallas, I would really appreciate it if you would pass this info on to them. The director is looking for a big variety of people, and anything goes (regular folks, musicians, cowboys, scientists, auto mechanics, waiters, computer techs, characters, skaters, moms & dads, etc.). We need to hire 40 people at $500-$2000 each. Here's the info...
We are looking for all-types of people (ages 25-45) to audition for a TV commercial for a food company. You do not need any acting experience to audition. Auditions will be held this upcoming Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Dec. 14th-16th from 9 a.m.

Or since it's simply an email asking for some basic information you could setup a quick form to fill out on a webpage asking those questions... have it dump it to a database and then have an easy way of sorting into categories and contacting whom you want w/ an accept/deny message... but hey... they can do it the harder way that looks like a crock... w/e
