Official autocross poll #3 - Can you help?
In an effort to improve our autocrosses, I'm starting a series of polls to get some feedback on how people would like to see them run.
The third question is about how much extra help we can get, so that we organizers can take some weekends off or just show up as regular participants. There are a number of different aspects that go in to putting on an autocross, so this is only a rough poll. Feel free to speak up about details in posts below.
Also, please note that while helping run the event is greatly appreciated, we don't have enough people to exclude anybody from a normal work assignment as well.
If enough people step up and offer to help, no one person need commit themself to attending every event. (Well, except the person hauling the equipment. )

I may be able to help in a number of areas (not all for one event, of course):
Running timing computer
Driver's meeting
General leadership
Course teardown
As you can see, I'm not much of a morning person.

Me neither, lol. So I'll just copy down what Ryan said

I'm in for course setup with Jrj as well as tear down. Not really interested in running registration/timing unless it's a bind honestly. I'm also fine with spamming other boards with advertisements etc etc. Running an autocross is really about a 4+ person job in my opinion.

I'll be happy to help with timing and scoring, as well as registration. I'd also be happy to lead the driver's meeting - I've been mouthing off during them for ten years, but I think I've absorbed some of it.
I can also go back to handling Tech and/or instructing.
Honestly, I think the best solution to prevent burnout is going to be two or three crews each for timing/scoring, registration, and course setup. That way you can rotate these crews and no one gets stuck doing it at each and every event.
